4 charts/different timeframes.

I have 4 charts open. linked. 4 Different time frames. When i press a new instrument the qoutelist it changes to the new instrument on all cahart, like it is sopposed to, but it changes all charts to 4 hour charts. how can I awoid this?

Hi,

Take a look at the Configure > Preferences menu and then select Linking in the second row. You most likely have Link Bar Size set as the default.

I tried unchecking chart enherit too, nothing helped.

Try saving all of them as a different 'analysis' with different names

File - Chart - Save as ...

Hi,
From your screenshot I can't see the four charts so I am going to assume that some of them are floating charts. Take a look at your Configure > Preferences > Chart > Chart Options menu and in the second column make sure that the Lock Bar Size option is unchecked. Now when you change symbols, the timeframes will not carry over. Each chart can have its own timeframe. If they are all on the same timeframe now, make the timeframe changes and they should stick without carrying over when you switch symbols from the quote sheet.

Yes, that did it. Thank you very much. I knew it was just a minor problem i have forgotten. Thanks again. And yes it was floating charts. But the Lock Bar has to be checked... ? It was unchecked, but when i checked it, it works.
