General Feedback on Motivewave beta 7

That’s sounds great! I also have been sharing feedbacks with the support team since the release. Hope for some updates soon!

MW said no, by a e-mail reply. Something about that its not possible to run both versions of same data/workspace. Find it strange since I run Version 6 on my pc of one workspace and version 7 on my laptop of a different workspace. And they dont interact with each other on any level. Only problem is I cant run them both at the same time because of license issues. I would understand that you can not run them on same PC but two different PCs should work.

Its their decision and the road they chose to go. I suppose its version 6 for me for unforeseen time. I'm not switching to trade of a Beta version with all its issues.

Thanks for the update MrSharky! That would have been very cool but I guess it is what it is.

My two cents:

1. TPO, both study and component, reset to "use chart bar size" after upgrade. Can be confusing until figured out
2. Time& sales periodically goes blank with my settings from Version 6. Default T&S seems to populate fine.

1. DOM and footprint freeze up during high volatility - 8:51am and 9:00am Central on 5/1/25. Overall sluggishness which was never there in Version 6 - barely noticeable delay and desynchronization between footprint and DOM - I use them both as the main trading window with "Scale Price Graph with DOM" option enabled
2. Footprint randomly blanks out
   
3. Labels - appear and disappear randomly on chart-by-chart basis. Text color setting is ignored, and always defaults to white. Border style doesn't work. No option to set labels from general settings - need to edit each chart. The first time I tried, it changed the settings for all charts, even though I did not save new settings as default. Second time - only for the chart I was editing.
4. Cross-trade text label in upper left chart corner - no way to change appearance. I use Light window theme with Charcoal chart theme, and cross-trade is black font over a dark grey background i.e. unreadable. Ideal solution would be to add a cross-trading label so I could display it wherever and however I wanted
5. Auto-backup stopped working for one of my workspaces, without showing any errors. When I try to perform the backup manually I get the following error:

1. Market order issues - had it once today, didn't capture. Symptoms - Market order shows as open on the DOM, even though the order was filled. System doesn't update the position, so you fly blind for a while. The position updates later, while market order still shows unfilled, but you can't actually cancel it because it no longer exists. This is due to timeout while waiting for fill confirmation back from rithmic. I used to have these issues with Tradestation but never with rithmic. If persists, it will cause a lot of problems with the trade copier.

I wish they allowed a second instance under one license during the Beta.

I'm very reluctant to trade of a Beta version. Still would be nice to familiarize oneself with the new version.

Isn't it possible to use the test phase for 14 days for this? 14 days should be enough to test a few things
