How to Stop Time Scale Resetting Itself ??

I couldn't find this in the video's or a forum post, but I'm still thinking it must be something I'm doing incorrectly.....

When I scroll back through a couple years of bars and then change the bar size, the chart automatically realigns to today. Then I have to scroll back through a couple years of data again.

The only 'fix' I've found for this is to apply Replay mode and set the date for the latest data I want to see. This works, but seems a bit clunky.
