Java SDK version

What is the correct java version to use with the sdk? I started poking around the docs, but I don't see any recommendations.

I am currently working with 21 for some other projects, but I have had people tell me I should use whatever version the sdk was compiled with.

Edit: I am asking because 6.8.8 went to 21, but I don't see anything about the sdk.

I am using OpenJDK-21. So far, it works well with MotiveWave 6.9.4.
