Installed 7 on Windows 11 and it even cannot load a simple chart from my saved workspace backup. For example it cannot load NGM5 (Nat gas June contract). I expect it will take long long time before we get the stable version of 7.... By the way, this application is installed under C://Program Fils (86) folder by default. Isn't this x64 version?

Yep, it's a long road to the final version. Stick to 6.9.12 - it is stable one.

cheers.

I think its gone take some time, especially since they don't allow us to run version 7 and 6 under one license simultaneously.

It will take some serious time to find all those bugs on their own.

Yeah it’s definitely very unfortunate especially given the situation.

I’m afraid that even if I decide to go back to version 6.9.12 without wiping my MacOS clean that somehow some of the issues I’m experiencing now with version 7 might also show up in my workspace if I just install version 6.9.12 over version version 7 since the main preference and extension areas possibly might remain in the same locations.

Not sure but have any of you had to go back to version 6.9.12 and if so is everything working perfectly fine as prior?

For all this reasons I’m thinking about installing Sierra Chart as well using Parallels and use that Mainly while still playing around with MW version 7 until it become fully stable.

I went back to version 6 on my macos and everything is fine for me because I backed up my version 6 before trying version 7

Thats awesome! Thanks Ghome for you response! I also definitely made sure to perform a full backup of my version 6.9.12 workspace prior to installing version 7, but I just wanted to make sure all would be fine if I just reinstalled version 6 again.

Rewriting an existing application is a serious effort. The first cut presented to the public is an attempt to show the idea what the product would look like at the end.

I reinstalled v6 on windows, and had to recreate the workspaces that I had tested on v7. I.e. they wouldn't even load to be able to click the "restore" button. But that's just recreating the connection setup and password. Once that was done, was able to restore pre-v7 backups without any issues.

Thanks Vlad! I appreciate sharing your experience reverting back to V6 from V7.
