MW 7 blurry and unsharp charts

So after several mails, communications and screenshots, motivewave have come to the conclusion that this is a isolated issue to my PC and therefore they are not going to adress this as a issue.

I have tried version 7 on 3 different windows PC's with a 1920 x 1080 resolution with 100% scaling, and every single one of them shows same issue. What I have discovered is that if you scale up to 200% on same resolution the distortion disappears. The 6.9.12 version is btw knife sharp on same resolution and independent of scaling.

I have attached two images with 1920 x 1080 resolution, one with 100% scaling and the other at 200%. Take notice on the 100% version of the X and Y axis text distortion as well as the distortion on the ticker "ESZ5 - 5 min" inside the chart. Make sure you watch the images at 100% size to avoid sizing distortion issues.

I'm posting this here because if anyone else have this issue you should contact motivewave. As it is now they are not going to adress this, as they are of the opinion this is a isolated issue to my system.

I have the same issue since the update, its pretty annoying to look at, Thanks for sharing. I have contacted MotiveWave. Here is a side-by-side of TV (right) and MW (right) and you can clearly see the difference.

There is a setting named Appearance under the option menu on the start screen. I have played with the Font size and that has solved partially some of the issues, namely the text distortion I had. I'm still of the opinion MW6 is sharper but at least MW7 is usable now. Unfortunately again it took hours of testing and scratching my head without any help from support.

Thank you for the reply; making the text small kinda hid the issue, but like you say, its still blurry compared to before the update.

I did notice that it looks like the candles are transparent. If I have the ticker symbol that looks like watermark on the chart, I can see it through a candle.

Apparently my graphics card is insufficient. Not sure we are talking about static text and rectangles.
The development team recommends graphics with at least 512mb of VRAM, and mine is 128mb.

TBH I have a RTX 4060Ti with 16 GB and it does not help, so excuse me if I say its BS. There is something fundamental wrong it the coding of this version.

I agree. I have a GTX 1660 and no problems with version 6. I also noticed that when I have the software open for over an hour, the crosshairs on the chart have a huge lag and everything slows down. This was the same bug that was in the version 6 in Jan of 24. If tech would respond quicker, I'd be more willing to stay on 7 and report the bugs. If they had some sense, let our 1 key be used for both versions at the same time until the bugs are worked out

Thanks for the further info and preventing me from wasting money on a graphics card that won't help. Sounds like they are just trying to ignore the issue. Super!
