I took a look but the data source it uses from ForexFactory is no longer working, and it has no cache handling, which would cause it to become blocked from too many requests.

I ended up building a new study for this. It has proper cache handling, plays sound alerts before news (if enabled) and can show vertical lines on the time axis, among other customization options.

If I understand it right it's only a few days a year? I might be able to make a custom made version with this feature added in fairly easily.

If you don't mind, can you DM me some basic info about these dates and how you want them to be displayed, and a reliable data source (calendar) that I can use and I'll take a look what's required

Yes. It is only a few days a year. But I forget about them until after I have lost money and then remember after I have my butt handed to me on those days. On those days there is usually no trend, just quick rips in the futures market that trick me into thinking it is going to be a strong move and then the market stops and rips the opposite way. It would just be nice to have a reminder, so I don't forget. Since I am already looking at the Economic News, it can remind me not to trade on those days. I know 6/6 is not a 3rd Friday. But I just attached the image for an example below.
