So, last week and most of the time prior, when I close MW using my 2 external display: I have MacBook Pro Display and 2x external - the window/charts usually setup same as when I close but lately when I close windows having charts on externals then reopen they all open on my laptop screen. I have mw pro so I have 5 total desktop/screens/grids open. With thinkorswim for example I can save "save workspace" for setup with 1 monitor or with 3 monitor, then later open whichever I am using at time(single monitor or externals) I can't find a way to do this with MW and relocating every open is getting annoying. There something simple I am missing?

Just take a backup of the workspace before you close it down and restore it if necessary. Alternatively, you can sync to the Motivewave cloud and it will be saved automatically.

Right now the workspace is only sync locally. I know "workspace" is used differently over other platforms. Sounds like you understand the issue though. Are you saying if I change to using cloud workspace, when I save motivewave it will return to state was in, this would solve 1 part of issue. So, are you familiar with creating backups; if we create them with specific window configurations will these specific configs be reproduced later? this can be useful as there really isn't any other way to save window configurations, all we can do is "save all" "save configuration" "save analysis".

I am using an older version, 6.5.12 and I find the backups and restore function works perfectly regardless of local disk or the cloud. However, be careful I don't know about the newest version 7 as many bugs existed and are subsequently being resolved. Under the file menu, just choose backup or restore and save it to a directory, my documents or whatever. Alternatively, you can backup and restore the repository, just make sure all the boxes are ticked off or it won't remember the watchlist, configuration files, etc. The repository is available under the configure menu. I have tested this on the Version 6 and consistently works perfectly. Just be careful when saving a new repository right away as the backup folder has to be renamed or the latest backup won't be reflected. If the version you are using is a bit different and there is no backup or restore, you could always set up a legacy version on another machine but I can personally validate 6.5 working well with no issues. Also a pile of work but it might pay off and very simple to backup and restore.
