Once again I have to spend the entire day at work unable to log in to MotiveWave because I forgot to shut it down on my home computer before I left the house. This is extremely irritating. I understand why MW don't want two simultaneous instances, but why doesn't the newest login just sign out the older session? That's how it works with CQG for example. This also creates another more serious problem where if your computer crashes and you have to restart, you are unable to login to MW for about 30mins until it considers the previous session signed out. This can be disastrous on a trade (thank god for CQG app in my case).
Does anyone have a solution for forgetting to logout at home and wanting to sign in when you are outside? I use Macs, and I think Remote Desktop to sign out could be a possible solution, but that is complicated by the fact that my ip address changes. Is there a simpler solution I am overlooking?
Of course the best solution would be from Motivewave, to make the system force logout the older session when a new session signs in.
