Ok, do you get the "Signals" tab on the other studies?
You could try clicking onto the "Defaults" button at the bottom of the setup dialog and selecting "Reset Defaults".

No. and i have deleted the study and copied the new one in its place and still no difference

Very strange but as you do not get the "Signals" tab on any other study, either your MotiveWave edition does not support these or you somehow managed to switch off signals. I suggest to find out more about how to show and hide the signals tab or signals in general and then post a message here on how to get the "Signals" tab back so all other users who have the same problem can benefit from your discovery.
