After upgrading to 7.0.13 my workspace got destroyed, reverted back to the default workspace. Don't upgrade without a backup!

I was naive enough to do just that, though expecting bugs (as that's the theme lately), but still believing that the update will not do anything this destructive. Now I really get the frustration of other users that I read on this forum. This is the last straw, if the workspace is really gone.

I've sent an email to support complaining about the 7.0.13. I did not destroy my workspace but introduce a new flavor to an existing bug.

cheers.

Shit, they need a quick fix... fortunately I have a backup. But: each time when I restore from backup it seems fine... but restart Motivewave again, all pages from backup are lost again...

Version 7.0.13 is not available on anymore to prevent more damages. If you haven't activated yet: auto back up is a must (go to settings).

I just reverted back to 7.0.12 on my Mac as well, 7.0.13 completely hung on entry.

DON"T UPGRADE TO MV version7

This should be on by default anyway. Make sure this is on. Settings > General > Backup > Auto Backup.

Fortunately, I had auto backup turned on, but still, it can't be restored on 13. Didn't even try reinstalling 12. I can't be bothered.

Seriously considering switching to ATAS. Signed up for a trial yesterday and trying it out. Even though I must either buy a PC or use Parallels, which is a hassle, but even in Parallels it seems far more snappier and quicker than Motivewave (despite the fact it's a x64 binary and not arm, running in virtual environment, on .net).

In fact, the only thing now that's keeping me not to ditch MW immediately is that there are no real alternatives for MacOS, as far as I know. I've considered Bookmap, but can't justify the price bump.
