Default number of bars when pulling up a Chart

Brand new to MotiveWave and just trying to figure things out. Is there a way to specify a minimum number of required historical bars when pulling up a new chart? Right now, I get a handful of bars in the chart and must scroll the chart to force it to load additional historical bars. Thanks.

There is no such parameter available for the end user. I believe, for performance efficiency purpose the platform is loading the number of bars visible on the screen. When you scroll left/right the reload is activated. Switching to a higher timeframe let you see a bigger picture.
