Hi, I would like to know, before installing the new MotiveWave 7 version (I had installed the beta before and nothing was carried over), if I will have to start everything from scratch. When switching to the new version, will all my Elliott Wave customizations (colors, text, etc.) be applied automatically? The same question goes for my other customization tools (Fibonacci, trendline, etc.), or will I need to re-do all the settings manually? When I tried the beta, nothing was preserved and I had to redo everything…
Thank you

No, the customizations will not be applied automatically.

There are two ways to do this. A simple backup of the previous version 6 should be successfully restored if executed. I presume Version 7 is backwards compatible in this context. The backup should recover everything but you must check the tick-box, delete all previous studies to complete successfully.

The 2nd way is a backup of the repository to a external or flash drive. Don't back it up to the local disk because this can be overwritten easily. Be careful when re-importing the repository but this should also work and recover all of your previous configurations.

If you created more than one repository, be careful to rename the latest repository to a different folder name as it has to be a unique identifier and they cannot be the same name.
