How does one save default parameters for an alert?

Clicking the button below doesn't seem to do anything.

Any help appreciated!

Save Defaults applies only to the Notification options, not to the Parameters.

MotiveWave devs - feature request please - ability to save an Alert template with parameters.

This way, an Alert with multiple parameters can be quickly applied to different instruments. Especially useful for intraday when adding/watching several stocks.

Yes, I would also love having the Template drop-down button for Alerts.
Different kinds of predefined Alerts could be created quickly that way.

Additional alert related features on my wish list are:
  1. Saving the current Alert as a Default does not save the color, it would be nice to have that saved under the default / template too.
  2. It would be nice to have a checkbox "Once Per Bar", if ticked it does not trigger the alert again for the current bar even if e.g. touched multiple times. This would be used together where "Trigger Multiple" is ticked on an Alert.
  3. For Alerts where "Trigger Multiple" is ticked it would be nice to have a checkbox "Enabled". If ticked the Alert is active. If not ticked it behaves like being not existent, yet it can be activated at any stage again by ticking "Enabled". That way, regularly desired Alerts like high-of-day can be activated while looking at other charts and deactivated after returning to the chart which just triggered the alert.
  4. MS Windows (not sure about Apple): Alerts can be missed easily while working on charts and other windows as the Alert dialog might not be actually be visible (if already open it can stay hidden behind chart). It would be great if it could be integrated with MS Windows 10 non-intrusive message notification feature.
