How to shift price axis with mouse (i.e. move chart up/down) ?

Hello - how do you shift the price axis with the mouse?

What I mean is moving (i.e. panning) the chart up/down (thus changing the visible price area) WITHOUT changing the price axis scaling.

I know I can click-drag in the middle of the price axis to change the scaling from the center. And I know I can click-drag at the top or bottom edge of the price axis to scale in one direction. I'm not looking for either of these.

I just want to move the chart up or down on the screen.

Tried all the options I could find (including Preferences > General > Mouse) but I can't for the life of me figure this basic thing out!

Does it require a special/hidden key combo? Any help appreciated!

It sounds like you might be fighting the "Auto-Scale" feature which is normally turned on by default.

Trying toggling it off and grabbing the chart with your mouse & moving it around. (See icon highlighted in yellow in attachment)

Maybe I misunderstood your question - If so, let me know and I will take another crack at it. ?
