Does anyone have any idea why my charts never start up with the current bars on the right side? Most of the time the right side of the graph is something like June, July, or August and I have to drag the graph left to bring it to the current date. And a lot of times the current date comes up in the middle of the graph and I have to drag it to the right. This happens for new instruments that I open and also when I go back and look at graphs that have been open for a long time.

I feel like I must have inadvertently set something incorrectly but I haven't been able to find any setting that fixes it.

Thanks!!

My apologies for not having an answer to your question, but I see that you say you "drag" your charts. I have found no way to drag them other than by moving the x or y axis. Are you able to click on a chart and drag it with your mouse? If so, is there a setting for that?

Thanks,

David

Yes, double click on a chart to open the local settings. Then go to "Scaling" and change the scale type to "Price Range".
If you then click on "Save Defaults" it will apply to any new chart that you open from now on.

If you notice that your charts move on their on whenever you drag a chart to the past you can disable "Ticks From Edge" which is also found at the "Scaling" tab.

Thank you so much for this answer. I can't ever imagine having found it on my own.
