Replay Mode CPU intensive?

when running any amount of charts on live data my CPU temps idling at 30C, then when I run in replay mode my cpu temps spike to 76 but my usage only shows 10%... is replay mode specifically intensive in some way? for reference I am running a 3800x amd

hmm looks like its a single core program?

so I found this only occurs when pressing step all ticks, if you press step next bar its normal. my guess is has to do with how much ticks the program is trying to load then play through, and easy way to work around this is to load an extra chart for 2 hours and then make it small and use that window to "step to next bar" it will play through 2 hours in all the linked windows without the cpu spike
