When I log in, the same TD prompt shows and when I click connect, it redirects to a Schwab generic login. The 6.9.5 update appears to not have schwab login functionality.

I was able to log in and connect to Schwab but I was not able to load a symbol to the chart. I could search AAPL and a result would pull up but once I load to a chart I get a data connection error.

I'm pleased to see that even Futures are supported through the new API! I've been waiting for that for many years and the TDA was refusing to support it. Thank you MW dev team for incorporating the new API.

Can you help me to know the symbol for silver futures? I have tried searching on "SI" and "SIN24". Thank you.

UPDATE: maybe I need a futures account with them to see futures quotes?

Thank you. How should I know when I have to define something versus when that is not necessary? I suppose that if I can't find it in the search, then it needs to be defined. I didn't see an exchange called "XCME" so I just picked "COMEX". Is that okay?

If you can't do symbol lookup then yes, you need to define, but cross check with Schwab or ToS.

When you define an instrument/stock/futures etc. you can create an Exchange (see + icon next to Exchange field.
You should refer to the help/support docs under the Help menu, lots of resources on this.

Okay, but I have no idea when to add an exchange (or what reasons I should have to do so - seems rather arbitrary to me. Why not just pick what is already offered, I figure?). What does that do for me? Yes, I know the HELP menu. But when you have no idea what you are looking for, then it is a jungle or a swamp to try and get through it. "/SI" and "/GC" seem to work, so I will stick with what I have. I am not a sophisticated trader, so I just need the simple basics, I feel. Thank you for all your help.
