Yes they are - As long as you have a data feed that supports them... (CQG, Rithmic, etc)

Tradestation desktop has Tick charts, but the data feed into Motivewave doesn't support it.

Yes - That is exactly what I said. As long as the data feed supports it.

The Tradestation API does not support historical ticks in the feed therefore tick charts are not available via MotiveWave
