Topstep Data Level 2 Data

I'm looking to start an evaluation with Topstep. I want to do this using Motivewave as my trading software. I have signed up for AMP futures and they charge $13 a month for CME/Globex level 2 Data. I believe they have 4 different data feeds to choose from including Rithmic. If i get Level 2 Data from AMP futures, would i still need to buy Level 2 Market Data from Topstep when trading their combine?

No. But I assume you'd need to have two separate instances of MW - one for watching the AMP data, one for trading the Combine

If you have the professional or ultimate edition you can see both data feeds from topstep and amp at the same time

If you choose rithmic (which has best MBO data, e.g. tape consolidation) for both, you can't have them in the same workspace until version 7. That's one of the reasons version 7 is so highly anticipated

I have the MW pro version and any propfirm I have ever traded with including TopStep. I have never bought the level 2 data. And even so the DOM shows level 2 data without the purchase.

Without the purchase, i think you only see 5 levels of orders above and below market price. With level 2 you can see all levels. However, this only comes into play on the live accounts. In the Combine account you have access to the full level 2 data. You don't need to purchase level 2 if you are trading in the Combine.

Same here, I also see the same behavior on Quantower (and I'm not even paying subscriber). I believe you need to have MBO (market by order) enabled for this to work.
