Hi there everyone,
I am just curious if anyone else has made the switch to Motive Wave from DAS trader? I am in the free trial period here and really love the platform but am having a few hiccups with all the data requirements. For my broker, I am with Interactive Brokers Canada. I subscribed to their market data today and spent the day trying to test all the functionality in MW. It is definitely different than DAS Trader. DAS is sort of a Plug-and-Play platform with built-in data, so the learning curve to just get in and see the studies and charts in action is really simple. It is a bit more complicated in MW so far. Perhaps I am just not used to it.
I strictly trade US equities at the moment.
I am hoping someone else has some experience with the two platforms and may offer advice on the switch. Also looking for advice on whether IB market data is sufficient or if I should opt for DxFeed instead. They seem to offer the same data for roughly the same price.
Any help, tips, or suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers
Aaron
