In version 6.5 and above, I could use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom out and adjust the bar size and time interval for linear charts. For example, time-interval changes such as 1 min 2, 3, 5, etc., by scrolling the mouse. I experimented with the Mouse settings, but couldn't find an option to change the bar size by scrolling the mouse wheel.

Is this possible with V7?

Thanks,
Steve

I don't believe its possible because the scrolling of mouse wheel up/down is not something that can be 'binded.'

With that said, you can do something of a 'middle man' workaround. Depending on what mouse you're using (and what mouse software), if it allows for binding mouse wheel up/down to a keyboard key, you can do that.

So for example:

[ Mouse Software ] > Bind Mouse Wheel Up to Keyboard Key (RightArrow) >
[ Motivewave 7.0 ] Configure > Settings > General Tab > Keyboard Tab > Keyboard Shortcuts > Next Bar Size > Keyboard Key (RightArrow)

So long as your 'MouseWheelUp' is executing 'KeyboardKeyRightArrow', Motivewave should recognize it and change bar size.

You can try this with the trial period before committing.

I'm using the Aerox 9 mouse with Steelseries GG Software.

Good luck.
