If the MW staff are not going to be active or monitor this forum, I think we at least need a moderator.

If that person only to had the ability to delete all the spam we have been getting it would be a great start.

I am right there with you!! I even emailed them and volunteered and was told it would be forwarded to someone and never heard back. That was a while ago.

There has been a huge drop in quality of support. Even though MW has not been active on the forum for over 4 years, they still had some intern moderate the place, but now absolutely nothing. I still can't get over the infinite loop update that affected every single customer on every single platform on every single subscription tear, and they left it for a whole month.

Edit: I shot off an angry email, I suggest many more do the same. They are taking us for granted!

What is happening at your end? Did you get sold off or something? Do you even give a damn about your customers anymore? How about you send an intern to your own forum to clean up all the spam. It’s getting really bad, and users on twitter and in your own forum are talking about how they are losing confidence in your software. This is a serious thing and I suggest you fix it. I can’t say I am loyal customer, because the only reason i use you is because you are Mac native, but to hell with that if it means using crappy software that goes into an update loop for a month until you decide to fix it. Everyone who submits a feature request knows deep in their heart that it will never be implemented. It’s really just a bad situation. FIX IT!

Angry (almost former) user.

I agree, its getting frustrating, they cant even add a simple forum section as per request, which should not take more than 5 minutes tops, without sending out a generic e-mail "I will add that to our feature request list". Its getting ridiculous TBH.

I think all this is absolutly unecessary. Moderator are a pain. Let people say what they want. I like the way it is. I believe they do monitor, but you have to go through the platform to find other solution to your problems. Sometime I request someting and find another way to do things using another option. They will not spent time on each crap here. Anyway. That is my 2 cents. Leave the forum as it is.

I got a reply to my 'angry email', and I will share it here. Honestly I am happy they cared enough to reply. The reply itself was promising as well. They also sent someone to clean up the spam. Onwards and upwards!

Although we do have measures in place in helping control the volume of spam, there has unfortunately been quite a few lately by a couple of parties circumventing these measures. We have cleaned up most of it and will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis.

Everyone who submits a feature request knows deep in their heart that it will never be implemented

We have implemented over 100 feature requests over the past three years. Each one of our hundreds of feature requests get reviewed and assessed individually by development based on a number of factors. If it does get approved, it then gets prioritized and scheduled for implementation. We obviously cannot implement them all as this would not make sense from a product usability perspective.
We are currently working on version 7 which will have quite a few feature requests implemented.

goes into an update loop for a month until you decide to fix it.

This was reported on March 22 and did not affect all users. It was addressed a few days later on an individual basis for those who contacted support. I did check your email history and I don't see a record of you reporting it to support.
We do apologize for the inconvenience this caused you. For future reference, please reach out to support should you have an issue that you feel is not being resolved.

You did also mention comments on X (twitter) but I am unable to find the specific examples that you are referring to. If you can point me to those specific comments, I can look into it further.

Best,
Joe

I was not talking about having some angry guy who is telling people what to say - Not a moderator in that sense :ROFLMAO:

Perhaps you have missed the flood of spam / scam posts for fake Coinbase tech support and things like that.

A few days ago there was 15 of them in a row and I just thought someone should have the ability to remove garbage like that. That is what prompted my original post.
