3rd Party Study Resource Use

I have 3 desktops running 6 charts. On some of my charts I have 3rd party studies which I often have 'hidden' but I unhide them to see where a level is, or just in case I wanna use it one day or check to see if it had value, but most of the time they stay hidden.

I'm wondering if those hidden studies use computer resources? Are they running even though they are hidden? And does it make a difference if they are hidden when I start MW, then unhide it (to check a level) and then hide it again?
Thanks for any help in understanding that. (Still using MW 6)

If they are hidden they are not in use and don't use any resources. You will notice this if you add a few heavy studies (e.g volume imprint, TPO etc) and set them to be visible only on a specific timeframe, it will increase lag a bit on that timeframe, but when you change to a different timeframe the charts become more smooth.
