7Beta2

Is Beta3 now already stable enough to be used for production? Does anybody have some experience?
Hi Feistritzersarah! Hope all is well on your side!
I have downloaded the Beta3 since it came out last Friday.

After exploring it throughout the last 4 day’s live market session, I find it to be much more reliable and very optimized compared to the earlier Betas, especially if you’re most rely on linear (Time based) Chart.

For me personally I mostly rely on Renko and Range Bar Chart and even though the team at MW have done an incredible job fixing many of the bugs discovered from Beta1&2 the Renko and Rage bar chart accuracy and reliability in Beta3 is still not yet compare to MW version 6.9.12.

And also Chart Scaling just seems to still needs a bit more optimization. And wen using Replay Mode, Current Renko and Range bar candles do not print during playback and also Renko and Range Bar seems to take a very long time to load even though I chose to replay the same day’s session.

But otherwise exceptional platform with all the new features and UI Upgrades!

I have already share all this information with the MW support team and hope for the best!!

Below is some example of what I discovered in Beta3 regarding Renko Bar chart and Chart Scaling.

Now that Beta 4 is out i want to ask again how the overall experience is :D Just wanna make sure before I switch over.
From my tests with the sim account it feels pretty good. There were actually a few bug I found in b3 that I reported and all are fixed on b4! I'm planning to trade live with it tomorrow, see how that goes.

Has the Rithmic Connection improved with the latest BETA? Some mentioned that it is not as good as the Rithmic Gateway was.

Tested today, was still a bit rough for sure. I placed my order and the CQG connection and orders went through just fine, but I couldn't see any orders or positions for my rithmic account that uses copy trader. I closed my positions assuming that something happened and the rithmic order just wasn't placer, but when I looked in the rithmic mobile app the order had indeen been placed and filled but motivewave v7b4 didn't show anything.

That IMO is not a minor bug! :D Also, the Rithmic Gateway option apparently is only available for windows so I don't have that option in either my macOS or Linux workstation... so, that note of that.

For now I got rid of v7 for live trading and I'm back to v6. Will keep testing on my laptop with simulation

Thanks for the reply. I am also on Linux so forced to use the new Rithmic connection, which i am not fully convinced about yet :D

For anyone trying to use trade copier across multiple connections, my recommendation is - before you start actual trading, try placing orders somewhere away from the current price to make sure they won't get filled right away, using your trade copier account. Then try canceling these orders. Watch how orders behave and whether you get any exceptions (these might appear couple min later). Ideally, have rithmic R Trader for all accounts open and watch orders there as well as on MW's Orders panel. If all goes smoothly - you'll likely have no issues trading. If you're seeing errors or unexpected behavior, try disconnecting and reconnecting every account through File menu and see if it fixes the behavior.

I'm on beta 4 and my candles and their outline look a bit washed out.
Not crisp at all compared to TV or other platforms.
Anybody knows how to fix this?
