4/2/2026 the first attachment is showing big red bubbles at the support level. This is from Yush's screen shot from X. He is using a standard study with 200 lots minimum filter. He is also using Motivewave version 6.9 with Rithmic data feed.

My big trades and Motivewave support team generated big trades do not show the sell side absorption on 4/2/2026 around 9:30 am. Both 6.9 and 7.0 version did not show these red bubbles.

A lot of Motivewave users have a similar issue - they are missing with red bubbles.

The only way I thought could confirm this is to have Motivewave coding team to confirm by looking at times and sales and check if there should have been two red bubbles.

Can anyone help? If this indicator works as intended, this is very helpful confirmation at the key levels.

You are not alone; this issue occurs with Rithmic and CQG. For some reason, it doesn't appear for some MotiveWave users. I raised this with Rithmic but never received a reply. On my chart at the same spot NO SELLING orders. I think Motivewave users should know the answer how reliable is this "Big Trades" study.

This could be a difference between aggregated and non-aggregated data. For instance if that screenshot with the big trades is using aggregated data and your Rithmic / Big Trades study is not, there could be large differences like that.

With Rithmic you can choose aggregated data at login and there is also an option on the settings of the Big Trades study.

MW is just a graphical representation of the data it gets from the data provider... If there is a difference between CQG & Rithmic in actual tick data, that is not a MW issue.

I have no idea whether this is a Rithmic or MotiveWave issue, but it’s frustrating for many traders when orders go missing from the Big Trades study, such as those reported by other members or shown in the attached image.

In order to troubleshoot it you would need to know everything about the chart you are comparing it against... Who is their data provider, what are their settings as far as aggregate / non aggregate, etc.

If you have all of that and you are indeed comparing "Apples to Apples" then you should be able to submit that information to support and get an answer.

I already did. Motivewave development team is not very interested in finding out the root cause. They just say "it works". Cleary they are not the trader and don't understand how important it is. They should just look at time & sales and be able to confirm whether their should have been sell absorption or not instead of saying they cant figure out other user's setting. There was not much of setting to tweak to begin with. Its quite frustrating.

From my observations, it seems that orders do not show up during periods of high data demand, most often between 9:30 and 10:00 AM EST, regardless of whether the connection is via Rithmic or CQG. Some orders, however, become visible if I drop charts to MS (like 150ms) for the order heatmap.

MotiveWave support is hit-or-miss
