Some weeks ago I posted No Charts for EUREX Bonds Futures.
Today is the roll-over day for many index futures and I found blank charts for most of these contracts on EUREX, CME and CBOT with similar error messages. The CQG datafeed is OK, as seen in DOMs.
I cleared out local data - no result, tried to roll-over manually - no result, manually Unadjusted - no result. Several MW restarts - no result. This problem is coming out near all roll-over dates with many contracts.
I don't have any problem with the hardware nor OS: everything was thoroughly checked and is up-to-date.
My setup for Continuous Contracts is 5 working days before expiry, Diff. Adjusted. I tried different parameters for individual contracts, but it doesn't make any difference - seems like this function is not working.
This is becoming really annoying, as regularly the software is unusable and I'm starting to wonder what have I paid 476USD for?

Here it comes again: expiry date for the EUREX index contracts.
I prepared a page with indexes forward contracts to front run the rollover issue. It was working fine yesterday and the day before, but today more than half of the charts (5 of 4) are blank , although data is visible in Watchlist, DOM and T&S. Manual roll-over attempts with various settings for Back Adjust Method failed and invoked error messages. Clear Local Data function doesn't work either. Adding contracts to Continuous Futures list doesn't make any difference.

FX and EUREX are my main contracts of interest. Here I'm stuck and fed up with MW. I can't literally use it. Roll-over on other platforms does work. From other threads in the Forum I see that this issue appears with other datafeeds other that CQG.

In my mind, this is not a malfunction of automatic rollover procedure, which would require a user to do it manually. This is a faulty product that freezes and becomes inoperable in parts for dozens of days a year with no way for the user to fix it. From a legal perspective, this is negligence on the part of the vendor to provide fully working software. It's not a free software provided "As-is". The vendor must deliver working product, or fix it ASAP and provide all users with relative patch.

Just discovered that the charts for Globex Micro contracts, which expire today, but still active, are also blank. All contracts are set for Roll Method 5 Business Days Before Expiry Date, so in theory they should roll-over on opening of the page with charts. In reality they're blank, but the data is active as seen on the Watchlist.

Maybe a version of Java installed is interfering with MotiveWave, I know Motivewave runs on java so they might be fighting each other

Perhaps you right, but it's not a user problem. Java library is included in MW installation. Quick check of the Release notes reveals that Java version used in 6.9.. MW is not the latest.
