Guys,
I am using OF with NQ. I enter with 2 C and on first TP fill my SL move to B/E +1 ( auto move -setting in Order config). at this stage system is pushing another order with 1 C in opposite direction at B/E. I happen multiple time and lost quite a good money but watching very closely and kill the order but only after it enter the position.
Is anyone facing the same issue and found any workaround.
I shared all the details with support but no answer yet.
I was on current version and now one version lower but facing the same issue

I never had an issue with the fills from dom to rithimc. Did you check the orders to see if they are open under the right account? Check with broker system to make sure orders are there as well

Hi Bart,
Thanks for the response, finally, feeling happy to see first response after a month. Yes orders were under right account and I use CQG. it happen multiple times. I trade on NQ only so can't say about the other tickers. so for my finding is but bug is in order preset screen (exit strategy) and if you enable S/L to B/E after first PT or number of tick, system kick another order. I lost all the gains and a good amount of money, feeling sad, reported to mw support as well but not much help. I encounter another bug only once so far system was showing -27k P/L and I had no order/contract, try to flatten all but did not work. I restarted the mw and all cleaned up. could'nt took the screenshot coz I was unable to think what to do.

I've run into this before, like the application doesn't know you've already entered a position. If you run a trade report, you'll probably see a position the system still thinks is open despite being closed for some time. It hasn't happened to me in a while, though, but never seems to affect my actual PnL/account. Still wonky and annoying as shit.

I am assuming you are using bracket orders, or an "Exit Strategy" from the DOM? If so, can you post a screenshot of your settings?

Also I noticed the "Power button" is on (See screenshot)... I am assuming you know if you initiate an order with that on (Even if you are already in a position) it will treat it as a completely separate order, adding attached orders per your settings.

I always try to turn that button off while I am in a trade and moving around my stops, etc because it can quickly turn into a nightmare.

Let me know if that makes sense :)

Thanks Donovan - Yes I always keep it on, have the bracket attached to order, otherwise NQ can hit you very hard. I do not use DOM for orders, I have right click on price axis. 1648227599321.png 1648227636076.png

It certainly appears that your settings are correct...

I just looked at your screenshot a little closer and something does seem funny... I see there are 2 orders at 14166.50, but you can see that they are actually 2 different 1 lot orders at the same price. The yellow arrow is pointing to what I am referring to. See how there is one "kind of underneath" the other??

So what that tells me is that one is a stand alone order, while the other one is part of a OCO order (You can tell by that line that connects the orders which I pointed to with a red arrow).

I am no expert, but I certainly have been confused / duped by trying to move my stop around (Or perhaps I canceled it, and then put it back in) with the brackets on. I could be wrong, but in my opinion that appears to be what is happening here.

Just my 2 cents from a guy who spent many hours on MW and has learned a few lessons the expensive way ?

On a side note - Those settings you posted were for the exit strategy entitled SL3 20-40 while you had SL7 running on that screenshot....

If SL7 is similar to the one you posted it might be confusing the system trying to split a 1 lot into 75% & 25% exit strategies?!?! I have no idea, just another thought.

Hey, thanks for going through. My finding on this issue is if I use exit strategy with B/E enabled, this happen very often. since I stopped using B/E, so for I don't see it.
