Improve Charting Workflow

Hi Support Team,

I would like to share a few feature suggestions that could significantly improve charting workflow and usability on the platform.

1) Link Components/Drawings to Selected Charts​

It would be very helpful to have the ability to link components/drawings to selected charts only, instead of having them appear across all charts.

For example, if I create drawings, notes, or levels for one specific setup, instrument, or timeframe, I would like those items to stay attached only to that selected chart. This would help keep layouts clean and avoid unnecessary clutter.

2) Edit Text on a Line Without Opening Settings​

It would also improve efficiency if users could quickly edit text directly on a line without having to open the settings menu each time.

This would make chart annotation much faster, especially during active market hours when speed matters.

3) Allow Text Input Inside a Box​

Another useful feature would be the ability to input text directly into a box drawing tool.

This would make it easier to label zones, setups, or notes clearly within the chart, instead of relying on separate text tools.

These features would make charting much more intuitive, efficient, and organized, especially for traders managing multiple setups and timeframes.

You might be able to get around the 1) issue by using templates potentially. You can also go into specific components, click settings > options > and change timeframes that the component appears on:



That way, trendlines I draw on the 5min timeframe don't show up on my Daily Chart.

2) I think I would make too many false errors if this were a feature, but I get where you're coming from.

3) I agree with you on this, but you can get around it by using support/resistance zones since you can write inside the box, but I agree with your contention:

Thank you for your reply.

1) I use 5M footprint chart on 1 window and 1M candlestick chart on the other. I do switch my candlestick chart around different timeframe during trading so using the visibility will not be ideal.

2) I would like it to function the same way as TradingView.

3) I didn't know text can be written with that component. I will use that!
