Hello,

I am facing some issues with chart loading and overall performance on my Windows machine. Specifically, charts take a long time to load, and the platform becomes unresponsive during high trading volume periods.

I have ensured my system meets the recommended specifications and have tried basic troubleshooting steps like updating Java; increasing allocated memory; and reinstalling the application. I have checked https://support.motivewave.com/forum/index.php?forums/windows-os.23/sfmc guide but still need help .

Is anyone else facing similar problems ?

Any advice on optimizing MotiveWave for better performance on Windows OS would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!:)

It will most often be dependent on your feed. That's where the bottleneck usually is.

Hi selen

I am facing the same issues as your are mentioning. My laptop is 12th gen I7 with 32 GB and Rithmic datafeed. Cpu load is max 20 procent and in the corner right below of the screen i see never an issue with the load speed, all green

What feed are you using?

When volatility is high executed orders are not updated in time and my position is not displayed correctly anymore.

Do you know which feed for MW is known to be quick and which is slow?
I have used Rithmic and CQG and have very little issues. There can always be some lag at major news and so, but that's normal. Maybe its the internet speed, I have a 1 GB fiber line with 900 Mbit+ performance up and down. Maybe that's the difference. The PC is good, but nothing extra special.
