EUREX Bonds Futures are tend to expire today. Roll Method (Continuous Contracts) is set for 5 Business Days Before Expire Date, but no automatic rollover was made.

This time I made manual rollover for DB, DL, DG, FBTP, FBTS, FGBX, FOAT but no charts for these contracts are displayed with error message attached. Can't change timeframe either. CQG datafeed is OK, as L2 data is presented in DOM. Any ideas for a fix?

Same story after three months: same error messages, no roll-over, empty chart screens. CQG datafeed is OK, as L2 data is presented in DOM. Clearly a bug in the software, which the vendor does not care about.EUREX Bonds Screenshot 2025-03-06 105345.png

Empty charts of today, now there are more EUREX and some CME contracts near roll-over dates. Same error message. I think the following post may be related to my problem:
On top of that Application closing problem - MW is not closing in minutes - had to use force closure.

Do you use AMP Futures by any chance? For Eurex I had to use numbers instead of letters in the symbol, for example FDAX0325 instead of FDAXH5

Is it for Rithmic or CQG? Yes, I'm using AMP/CQG, but for me changing the contract letter code with a number doesn't work, i.e. "The symbol: FDXM0625 is not valid."

I'm using Rithmic. Maybe it's different for CQG.

I don't know if it's related but you can try doing a reset for all the instruments and see if it helps, check this:

It's not a problem with backfill data on charts. The problem is that the data from the feed is not processed in MW and is not presented on charts - that's why they come out empty, even the price scale has nothing to do with the price of a contract, while the datafeed sends contracts data, which is visible in both DOM and T&S. But anyway, thx for your input.

Today is expiration day for EUREX Bonds Futures. Guess what? Another set of blank charts and no possibility to roll them forward manually. Strangely enough I performed manual roll-over for some the day before expiry, i.e. FGBX, but today no sign of life from it.
-updated- datafeed clearly is working as seen on both DOM and T&S. But the chart is blank, as all other charts for this and other contracts mentioned. Any action on these charts (Clear Local Data, changing Template, changing interval) invokes error message (attached).

I have the same problem every expiry date with all contracts as you told, otcscan. It makes no difference if it is the Bund, FDAX or S&P. Today is the expiry of a lot of Futures and I rolled yesterday. Today, I have the same "unexpected error" and no chart. I use CQG data feed, too. And I have no chart. Everything I tried has not worked. Is there anyone who has further ideas? Thank a lot!

Hi, I got the following answer from the mw-support. I could not test the solutions (I was absent), which have been supposed, but I would like to share it:

Regarding the current issue, I was able to load a chart using DDU25 (German FDAX). Please try the following steps.

1. Right-click and select Clear Local Data. If that does not work, try step 2.

2. Create a new chart with that symbol. If that does not work, try the step below.

Please try deleting the symbol as follows.

1. Open up a new chart with a symbol other than the one causing the issue.
2. From the Console menu, navigate to Configure > Instruments. Please search for the symbol causing the issue and delete it.
3. Navigate to the chart you created in Step 1 and enter the symbol you deleted in Step 2.

This will download the symbol metadata and the refreshed data from your data provider. If the issue persists, a minimal copy of your workspace, i.e., only with the charts or watchlist relevant to the problem, would be beneficial in determining the cause of this issue. You can start by creating this file using the File > Backup command from the Console menu and forwarding it.

Hi, thx for that info. Outside expiry dates it's difficult to spot any anomalies, but it could be useful to send a copy of your workspace for testing. If you don't want to share all your setups I could suggest smth (unless you not familiar with it):
1. Make backup of your workspace (File-Backup).
2. Create new workspace (Configure-Workspaces-New). Give it a new name, i.e. Test.
3. Open your new workspace Test, it will load lots of default pages with charts like ES, YM, NQ, CL, you may want to delete them and Clear All Local Data from Configure.
4. From the backup file that you created previously restore the copy of your workspace (File-Restore), delete anything you need leaving only basic pages and charts.
Your new Test workspace will be neat and clean.
Btw I have tried the first 1. and 2. and the second 1. with forward contracts. In other days than the expiry day everything was just fine. On the expiry day every rolled contract got frozen. To me the response looks like kicking the can down the road: the problem is massive, it concerns not only DD, but most of the contracts on EUREX and GLOBEX.
