Can't get rid of extended data on some charts

Sometimes there will be a chart that I cannot get it to NOT show extended data. I click on clear local data and I toggle the "Show Extended Data" button but it just keeps showing the extended data. At the same time, other charts i can toggle between showing extended data and not. If I change the instrument for the chart to some other ticker then back then the graph is correct and doesn't show the extended data so I wouldn't think that the problem is at the provider end.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I am running the latest version of Motivewave on Linux and I am connected to TDAmeritrade.

Yes, when I used TDA data, I also couldn't get the extended data to disappear, though I never tried changing the instrument to another ticker and back.

Unfortunately I can't find the emails I exchanged with MW Customer Service, but I vaguely remember it did have something to do with the provider.

Please let us know how it turns out.

I have since found that sometimes switching instruments then back works and sometimes it doesn't.

Hi, I experienced the same problem with TDA data. My SPY and QQQ extended data would be removed if I unchecked Show Extended Data, however I couldn't get my IWM extended data removed. I searched the MW docs and found the following solution...

When I went to the Advanced tab of the Edit Instrument (right click on chart to bring this up) I noticed that there wasn't an exchange set for Trading Hours. I assigned the appropriate exchange and was then able to remove extended data from the chart.
