Force Intraday Bar Calculation?

Is it possible to force the intraday bars to calculate at a time other than when set in the in Configure->Preferences->Historical Data?

The reason I'm asking is because the 'thinking' bar is appearing for 10-30+ minutes when I scroll out to a new bar size. I'm on IB and the data feed seems fine on other instruments where I've already gone through this process - I can scroll in/out of these bar sizes almost instantly.

I just received a very prompt and helpful note from Tech Support. It looks like the issue is IB so I'll try another data feed to see if that takes care of the issue. It might take me a few days with other things going on, but I'll let folks know what I find.

...couldn't take the slow data... signed up through dxFeed and it is dramatically faster. Still takes a few seconds, but not the 10-30 minutes I was experiencing.
