How to load charts faster

Hi,
MotiveWave is great but it takes a lot to load charts, specially when changing timeframes. This doesn't happen on other platforms so I think there must be any workaround for that.

Also I would like to preload all the charts instead of having to load one by one.

Any idea how to do it?

I think there is some change that can be done by increasing the setting in MAX HEAP (in ADVANCE settings). well I am also facing this issue can someone plz address this .

Hi,
We currently do have a feature request logged for future consideration which will allow the batch downloading of data for charts.
The loading of data will be completely dependent on the response of the API. API's such as Interactive Brokers can have data limitations. In the case of IB, too many requests for historical data can trigger pacing violations causing delay for further requests. MotiveWave will throttle the requests to avoid triggering the pacing violations. This will result in longer response times for historical backfill. Typically, in this type of scenario, we recommend a data feed such as IQFeed which can be used to backfill the historical data while the real time data is provided by the connecting broker. This results in much quicker backfills and consequently faster chart load times.
