How to lock TF when using mouse wheel?

Hello,

When i set my chart to ie. 5min TF, and hold down ALT and scroll with the mouse wheel, not only does my chart change horizontally, but it also changes the Time Frame I'm trying to work on. ie. 5TF and am trying to zoom in. When i scroll in, this action function auto changes my TF and i have to start over, whilst being super careful not to zoom in too fast.

How do i set this shortcut function up so that when shrinking or expanding the chart size horizontally using the mouse wheel, it has no effect on the Time Frame i'm exploring?

Have you experimented with this menu?

General Preferences > General > Mouse

I am not sure why it would be changing the time frame, but I have had MW fight me while trying to navigate if "Auto Scale" is on - Try and toggle that off as well.

I tried these settings and this is how it behaves...

Is it possible that a hotkey was assigned and is interfering with this?

Also - You could try and check "Lock Bar Size" in the menu shown below

I'm not understanding really. You want to zoom in, but you want to keep the timeframe the same?
Do you just want larger candles?
