How to save everything in Motivewave when you have to format your hard drive?

I have to format my harddrive and start again with a fresh version of windows. What is the best way to save everything I have for Motivewave? If I save my back up files, can I re install them on the harddrive, and have everything be the same as it was? I am using version 6.8.8 Java version 21.02 (64 bit)

Just take a backup from File -> Backup, then on your freshly installed version restore it by using File -> Restore.
And if you have any custom studies, make sure to copy them over from your old extensions directory.
That should be all that's needed, I have done it many times without any issues.
