Hello,

Anybody having problem when launching their workspace. SOme of my charts open full size.
in fact 3. One is the T&S and two other charts. others are ok. It just take 3 minutes to resize,
move back to specific position. sometimes I cannot resize. They are stuck at full size.
It is a 3 monitor setup. COuld window size option fix this. I don't think so.

Regards

Hi Bill, I had the same problem a few times, each time after changing my multi-monitor setup or moving from my desktop to my laptop due to traveling. I managed to switch off that full screen behavior with either of the below or a combination of it:
  • Ensure the edge of the windows is not even a bit going from one monitor into the next one, carefully resize the window.
  • Also ensure the window is not going even a bit outside e.g. beyond the top of the top-most monitor.
  • Ensure none of the windows overlap each other, either make them be exactly next to each other or leave a tiny space.
  • Resizing Tip: When you get the resizing arrow at the edge of the window, ensure it is about 60% of the arrow's size outside of the window. That way the resizing mode kicks in instead of the window move-mode.
I hope this helps and also saves some time.

Hello Daniel,

Thank you for your time. I went into NVIDEA manager to reset some settings. I'll pay close attention to your advice.
Indeed, when I maximize windows they overlapse by approximatively 10 pixels. Althoug the saved charts
are way smaller than the entire monitor, T&S and 2 chart still open fully maximized after those changed.
No way to fix it yet. I deactivated the option "use windows across many monitors". I will restart tommorow and see
if that worked. Again thank you for your reply Daniel.

Have agood one,

Regards

All changed made worked. Some in NVidea control pannel, some in the nView and so for it. I did not went through them one by one so I am not sure which one did the trick. It worked on retsarting the PC. For those who may have the same problem look at Daniel advice and video card settings, etc

Regards
